One of our favorite BBQ side dishes are these Hearty Crock Pot Baked Beans. Because they have ground beef and bacon in them, they  are hearty enough to be a meal in themselves. I have been known to make this dish and serve it up with a side salad or grilled veggies for a meal without any additional “entree” element. So simple to throw together in your crock pot you’ll wonder why you ever purchased the canned variety before.
